This is also the where you will find the nearest infant/junior schools & then to Xativa for their teenage education. Simat de la Valldigna is 12km away & the road down has some of the most amazing views of the valley you could wish for. 25minutes from the village you will also find La Galliana Golf Club, which is built around the mountain with stunning views on every hole - even the 19th! There is a local golf society in the village & all new members are welcome.
The larger historic town of Xativa is 10 minutes away with all the shops etc that you would expect from a larger Spanish working town, buzzing nightlife, numerous banks, shops, supermarkets even including it's own castle! There is also a train station where you can be in Valencia in 30minutes for the cost of about ? 9 for a day return. There is also the British school here if you needed one. Just 15 minutes inland from Xativa you will find the lovely lakes & waterfalls in Anna & Chella for those not wanting the beaches if not the beaches of Tavernes are 25minutes by car & the water park in Cullera is 35 minutes away ...
